Hair Options is a unique wig boutique created to offer a different type of experience for each individual who walks through its doors. Customers are greeted by a beautiful feast for the eyes. The room is set for an uplifting experience, the sounds of music, from the Glenn Miller Band to Judy Garland, are joy to the ears, the air is filled with the aroma of flavored coffee, and scattered throughout the store are crystal containers filled with an assorted variety of chocolate!

After observing the general business and typical atmosphere of many shops, Hair Options owner and operator Loraine McDonald felt that there should be a different type of experience offered…one that was fun, welcoming, & uplifting. After several years of prayer and some experience and knowledge learned from working in the field, Loraine stepped out in faith and put her ministry to work. Hair Options, a place where quality options are available to women of every age and for whatever reason, opened its doors on June 15, 2006.

Hair Options carries over 14 different designers, with the very best being the beautiful pieces offered by Raquel Welch. The last few years brought a tremendous surge of quality in wig cap construction and beautiful and stylish cuts and colors. Loraine considers the breakthrough designs on Raquel’s Tru2Life® blend combine with lace front and hand-knotted construction phenomenal. “If one is not accustomed to bangs, these pieces can be worn completely brushed away from the face, undetectable, totally disappearing on the skin. It is a pleasure to have the privilege to offer such quality pieces. I have taken several of these new pieces and actually combed and styled them to 1940’s styles and guess what…they are undetectable and beautiful! It illustrates what these pieces are capable of. I have never seen another designer achieve this so perfectly. I tell the ladies the greatest compliment they could have would be for someone they do not even know to come up to them and ask where they have their hair cut and colored! This is as good as it gets. Not only are they so natural that no one would have a clue, but they are so comfortable and the lace lies perfectly, adjusting to your head. It is not itchy and it disappears against your skin!”
